Keeping Current
You may be wondering how I keep up with what's going on with the social Web. For anyone, it's a matter of consulting a variety of different sources: Web sites, blogs, news, tweets. Regular reading is important, but you don't have to do it every day. It really isn't possible to keep up with everything. But you can stay in touch with trends without too much trouble.
Below, I offer a few suggestions of sources for updated content about the social Web. Keep in mind that some of these sources will go beyond the strict confines of Web 2.0 - but then again, Web 2.0 is leaking out into many aspects of the Web experience.
Some of the sites noted below can be followed in a variety of ways: on their Web sites, through RSS feeds, on Facebook or Twitter, etc. The alternatives are shown on the Web sites, so it's best to start there.
